This presentation is specially designed for parents of children who are transitioning to kindergarten and or those new to the special education process. Parents will learn about the various roles of members on the Committee on Special Education team as well as how an Individualized Education Program (IEP) is developed and implemented. Strategies to participate effectively in meetings and resolve concerns will also be reviewed.
