Presenters: Debbie Goddard
Session Description: This workshop will assist families in understanding the transition planning process specifically from high school to life after high school. When families are knowledgeable about the transition process and invited to participate by schools, students with disabilities experience improved post-school outcomes in the areas of employment, postsecondary education, and independent living.

Think College Inclusive Postsecondary Education (IPSE) 101

Presenters: Caroline Billeaudeau
Session Description: In this session, Think College will discuss the national landscape of college programs for students with intellectual disabilities. Attendees will learn more about inclusive post-secondary education programs, what IPSE programs entail, how to identify the right program, and what funding options are available.

Session Description: InclusiveU brings students of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities who want to experience college life in a fully inclusive setting. Day Programming Considerations & Planning

Presenters: Jacie Feuer & Lori Delgado
Session Description: Jacie Feuer serves as the Transition Services Director at The Arc Westchester, bringing over a decade of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She has held this role since 2019, after joining the Employment Services team in 2016. Jacie collaborates with high school special education professionals and community partners to support students and stakeholders through the transition to adulthood. Her work includes partnerships with Project SEARCH Autism Enhancement and the Employment Training Program. She is also a member of the Commissioner’s Advisory Panel for Special Education Services and co-chairs the Transition Linkages Committee.

Session Description: Residential Programs focusing on vocational and independent living skills, are an option for some students with disabilities after high school. In this session representatives from The Ramapo Camp for Children’s Staff Assistant Experience will provide an overview of their Transition program and considerations.
