WIHD/CSN was honored to celebrate the 33rd anniversary of ADA with Westchester Disabled On the Move at Crawford Park in Rye Brook alongside NY Lt. Gov Antonio Delgado, NY Sen Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and many other distinguished guests and local representatives.
CSN Self-Advocates Brendan Klein and Claire Polin were guest speakers, invited to introduce themselves and their work at WIHD as well as introduce some of the elected officials.
We were honored to be a part of celebrating the anniversary of this historic civil rights moment and recommitting ourselves to continue the work of fighting for equality and equality for individuals with disabilities.
