Session Focus: Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD)
Join us for a brief discussion and receive resources to recognize various adult service agencies and the different types of services available in NYS as well as the eligibility, referral and application process for the agency/service system that is listed above.
The Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) helps people of all ages with developmental disabilities live richer lives. These disabilities may include intellectual disabilities such as Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder and other neurological impairments. Participants are encouraged to come with questions and leave with answers to “What’s next?” in their young adults’ transition to adulthood.
