This presentation will be in Spanish and will provide parents of students with disabilities a broad understanding of the Committee on Special Education (CSE) meeting process. Parents will be offered strategies to be effective in their role in the process, including an understanding of the importance, and the how’s and why’s, of sharing concerns and information about their child – including their child’s own voice. Parents will be better prepared to participate in their child’s student’s IEP meeting.
