Special Education Mediation for Families

This training is for parents and families to learn about Special Education Mediation and how to use mediation to resolve issues and conflicts regarding the education and experience of a student with a disability.

The training will provide information about Individual with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA): The Basics, Resolving Disputes Under IDEA and IDEA Special Education Basic Mediation Procedures and other important topics.
