From this presentation, you will learn the meaning of a few common terms that have become more prevalent since our children’s education has been provided thorough virtual learning platforms, as well as the basic components of home-schooling and home instruction, which are often confused or misunderstood by many. Participants will leave with a better understanding of the differences, in order to improve school-family collaboration and meet the needs of our students with disabilities. When we use the correct phrases to discuss new alternate modes of instructional delivery, district-specific practices, concerns and committee decisions, we all benefit.
