This workshop will explore the various ways in which we as members of our Committee on Special Education examine a student’s performance levels and the possibility of a special education program. The discussion will include the availability of general education supports, 504 plans, requests for referrals, evaluations, timelines, and the factors considered for special education eligibility and IEPs.
