A Guide To Preschool Special Education CPSE

This booklet was created by the Mid-State Early Childhood Direction Center, located at Syracuse University. It is a guide to the steps in the process of obtaining Committee on Preschool Special Education services for a child aged 3 to 5, starting with referral, defining multidisciplinary evaluations and finishing with how eligibility and services are determined. It also explains the parent’s role as a central member of their child’s Committee on Preschool Special Education.
