This training package is intended to assist parents, family members, and Educational Organizations (EOs) in understanding the special education process, roles and responsibilities of the various members of the Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) and Committee on Special Education (CSE), particularly that of the Parent Member; and techniques and strategies necessary for becoming an active participant in CPSE and CSE meetings.
Note: This is a four-hour training in two parts, 9-11 am and 12-2 pm with a one-hour break for lunch. Four hours must be completed to receive certification.
