WIHD congratulates Izel Obermeyer, Director of our Assistive Technology Program, for being chosen as a Carnegie-Wit Diaspora Fellow. The Carnegie-WITS Alumni Diaspora Programme is an initiative of the Faculty of Health Sciences, at the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits), Johannesburg, funded by the Carnegie Corporation of New York. The Fellowship program seeks to stimulate research collaboration and networking amongst the Wit’s leading research alumni who now live and work in academic institutions around the globe. Congratulations to Izel!
