Westchester Institute for Human Development (WIHD) is seeking a 4th year AuD fellow for the 2020-2021 academic year. The Audiology Fellow will participate in varied clinical experiences at WIHD and at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York. Services are provided to children and adults with communication disabilities and/or neurocognitive disabilities. Services Basic audiologic testing, pediatrics and adults
Hearing aid evaluation, dispensing and counseling, pediatrics and adults, APD testing, ABR testing, cochlear implant and infant hearing screening.
The audiology fellow also participates in a multidisciplinary educational and research program, LEND (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities)
The fellowship position offers ample supervision, a warm & supportive environment, a monetary stipend and a broad range of experiences. Preference will be given to applicants with a strong desire to work with the pediatric population and/or with individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities.
