DESCRIPTION:This training is to educate families\, especially those with a child in elementary school\, on the New York State Alternate Assessment (NYSAA) which is part of the NYS testing program that measures attainment of the State’s learning standards for students with the most severe disabilities in grades 3-8 and high school. Attendees representing the full spectrum of stakeholders in special education will learn and share effective in-person\, online and virtual communication strategies.
