- Our Co-discussion leaders for this meeting will Be Mitchell Levitz, Self-Advocacy Coordinator and Brendan Klein, Youth Advocacy & Engagement coordinator for the Community Support Network. We will be talking about the following areas:
- You are a self-advocate who has already been sharing your own personal story to teach other people about disabilities.
- You are a self-advocate who wants to learn how to tell your own personal story so that other people learn more about life with a disability.
- You are willing to share your story and have us help set up groups for you to speak with. (Examples: students and teachers; doctors and other medical professionals; community organizations and more.)
- You want to make things better for ourselves and other advocates by speaking-out so that people have a better understanding about disabilities.
- You want to have fun enjoying this activity because it is a great opportunity to make a difference.
