Internships and Training Programs

Quality of life for all, and especially of individuals with disabilities, is dependent on access to well-trained, sensitive health care and education professionals who are well versed in systems of care and effective practices. WIHD is committed to preparing professionals who not only provide exemplary services but also advocate for appropriate disability policy, particularly in the arenas of health care and education. As such, we provide clinical training, as well as leadership training, to a number of professions and specialties.
