ADOPT-A-FAMILY PROGRAM

How the graciousness of others makes the holidays brighter for children in foster care in Westchester County.

Every December, the staff at the Family Program at WIHD collaborate with departments from the Westchester Medical Center, local organizations, churches and scout troops, as well as individual families, to provide gifts and food for needy families to help them celebrate the holidays. Because those who give the gifts "adopt" a particular child or family, they can fill their "wish lists", providing special pleasure to those who are giving the gifts.

The staff of the Family Program extend their most sincere gratitude and appreciation to everyone who participated in the Adopt-a-Family Program.

Thank You for everyone who participated in the Adopt-A-Family Program
