(NAIC) The National Adoption Information Clearinghouse
is a comprehensive resource on all aspects of adoption. The
clearinghouse is a service of the Children's Bureau; Administration
on Children, Youth and Families; Administration for Children
and Families and; Department of Health and Human Services. The
clearinghouse is A national resource for information on a variety
of aspects related to adoption. Useful information about mental
health resources and post-adoptive services are offered through
the clearinghouse. New Alternatives for Children (NAC)
New Alternatives for Children (NAC) is a not-for-profit
health and social services agency with the mission to serve
children with medical disabilities and/or chronic illnesses
and their families. NAC offers facts and myths about adoption,
as well as a keepsake guide for adoptive parents. New York State Citizens Coalition
for Children (NYSCCC) NYSCCC is an organization consisting
of citizens, and foster and adoptive parents in New York State.
The organization stands by the belief that every child has the
right to a permanent, loving family. The website provides information
regarding legislation and policies affecting adoption. Resources
such as organizations, articles, support groups, and post adoptive
services are available through the website. Spaulding for Children Spaulding
for children is a national resource center for special needs
adoption. Spaulding's National Resource Center provides training,
consultation and informational materials for professionals,
organizations and parents. Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh
The hospital offers helpful information regarding parenting.
This website provides parenting tips on a variety of issues
such as sibling fighting, your children's self-esteem, bedtime,

provides great parenting information. The site includes articles,
parenting tips, resources, and news. The resources provided
cover such areas as child safety, positive parenting, children
with special needs, health, and more. Internet Resources for Special Children The IRSC web site is dedicated to children with disabilities and other health related disorders worldwide. They provide valuable information to parents, family members, caregivers, friends, educators, and medical professionals. Examples of some of the topics covered are various disabilities, diseases, health care, mental health, special education, support & assistance, and many more.
