Chandler Thompson, D.M.A., M.S.
Speech-Language Pathologist
Chandler Thompson, D.M.A., M.S., holds a Doctor of Musical
Arts from Michigan State University, and a Master of Science
degree in Speech-Language Pathology from New York Medical College,
where she received the Clinical Excellence Award. Dr. Thompson,
a soprano, has performed professionally in such diverse roles
as Gilda (Rigoletto); Susanna (Marriage of Figaro); Gretel (Hansel
and Gretel); Susannah (Susannah); and, Queen of the Night (The
Magic Flute). She has appeared in recital in Florence, Italy,
and as guest artist with numerous symphony orchestras and chamber
music ensembles throughout the United States, including the
Spoleto Festival, U.S.A. Prior to moving to New York, Dr. Thompson
was Assistant Professor of Voice at Vanderbilt University, and
was on the voice faculty of the Opera Workshop of Dallas (Texas).
