Barbara Leader, M.A.
Speech-Language Pathologist
Barbara Leader, M.A., is a speech-language pathologist with
extensive experience in treating adults and children with disorders
of the speaking voice. She has worked with performers, teachers,
attorneys and many others with high voice-use needs. Her clinical
and administrative positions in a variety of medical settings
have provided her with the skills needed to manage pre- and
post-surgical patients, and those who are medically complex.
Ms. Leader is the co-founder of the New York City Voice Study
Group and is a past-president of the New York State Speech-Language-Hearing
Association. She is an elected member of the Legislative Council
of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, representing
speech-language pathologists and audiologists in New York State.
Ms. Leader maintains a private practice in New York City.
