David E. Kuhn, Ph.D.
Co-Director, Applied Behavior Analysis Program
Dr. David E. Kuhn completed his B.A. in behavioral biology at Johns Hopkins University and earned his Ph.D. in clinical psychology in 2004 at Louisiana State University with a specialization in mental retardation and developmental disabilities.
Dr. Kuhn is currently a member of the faculty at Kennedy Krieger Institute where he serves as a case manager on the Neurobehavioral Unit in the Department of Behavioral Psychology. He is also an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and holds Adjunct Assistant Professor appointments at the University of Maryland Baltimore County and the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. He is a Licensed Psychologist in the State of Maryland and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Dr. Kuhn is currently on the Board of Editors for the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, and has served as a guest reviewer for numerous other journals. From 2006 to 2007 he served as President of the Maryland Association for Behavior Analysis. Dr. Kuhn will join the staff of WIHD full time in June 2008 as Co-Director of the Applied Behavior Analysis Program.
