for Infants, Toddlers and Preschoolers
The Technology Loan Program for Infants,
Toddlers and Preschoolers is a lending library of assistive
technology for families of children in Westchester and Rockland
counties. Any child from birth to age five who receives services
through the Westchester or Rockland County Department of Health
can use the program.
What kinds of assistive technology are in the Loan Program?
The loan program has over 800 devices, including:
- Adapted chairs
- Walkers
- Battery-adapted toys
- Communication devices
- Prone and stupine standers
- Bath seats
- Light boxes
- Adapted puzzles and toys
- Computers and software
- Adapted keyboards

How can I use Loan Program?
You can call or visit to see if we have the needed device
for loan. Devices can be borrowed for evaluation, therapy, school,
or home use.
How long can I use the equipment?
We loan devices for eight weeks for evaluations. If the device
is recommended for longer use we can extend the time for up
to six months.
